This course will examine the history of the Indian Ocean. The course objective is to improve students ability to research and write in English. Classes will include
The study of authentic documents from different eras
The study of interactive maps of the Indian Ocean region
The study of research papers related to the history and geography of the Indian Ocean region
We will also look at how to present your own research in English.
